Yesterday was Ben’s birthday. He had a special day at camp where they sang happy birthday and gave him a special hat.
We had Ben’s favorite dinner of white rice and miso soup. With cupcakes for dessert.
Next week is Ben’s birthday party.
Sophie and Ben are going to the same camp, Willow Lake, for the first time and taking the bus together.
Ben was too little too drive himself so Sophie drove home around.
Today was Sophie’s last day of second grade. Next year she starts third grade at Jefferson school.
Sophie goes to nature camp every week and loves it. This week the group made fake fishing poles out of branch and rope. Sophie was the captain and decided the prices on all the fish they caught.
Ben had a dance party… by himself.
Sophie goes to nature camp every week… rain or shine. The muddier, the better.
Ben got his cast off today!
Both Ben and Sophie got a haircut today.
While attempting a fancy dismount, Ben fell off his swing and fractured his arm.
He was amazing at the doctor feeling better. Getting a cast tomorrow.
