Ben’s Birthday Week at Camp
This week at camp Ben celebrated his birthday and took a trip to Trader Joe’s. Momma attended both.
Sophie’s swimming!
Sophie’s getting into a pool twice a day at summer camp. She really wants to learn to swim, and has been trying very hard.
This weekend we visited our friend Deb Bart and her son Max. Deb, Hani, Maia and Layla also joined us. We went to the city pool and Sophie swam for the first time!

Ben’s favorite lollipop flavor
We bought a pack of Dum-Dum lollipops and they come in odd flavors. Ben told us his favorite was “Root Bear“.
Driving in the car this weekend and Sophie says: “Daddy. The penis that you have now is not your full penis. When you were a baby it got cut off.”
July 4th Fireworks
On July 4th we ate dinner, took a bath, got into pajamas, and headed down to the waterfront to watch the fireworks. It was way past everyone’s bed time but we were very excited. Things we saw in the fireworks:
- Smiley faces
- Hearts
- Corn
- Sandwiches ?!?
