Rita’s TED Talk
Last night Rita was one of four teachers doing a TED talk in front of a group. Sophie and Daddy were excited to go.
Before mommy went on, Sophie found a flashlight and did some investigating for a missing Bunny (or mouse… Details are a bit fuzzy)
When mommy finished, Sophie applauded and then ran up to give her a hug.
Making Afikomen Holders
Last week and today, Blue Roomers worked on their afikomen holders! First the children practiced threading yarn (using pipe cleaner needles) in and out of the holes of a cardboard card. Then, using real needles (blunt tipped), they sewed together two pieces of foam paper.
Today the children used glue and sequins to decorate their covers.
Leading up to searching for the afikomen at today’s seder, Blue Roomers played their own version of “find the afikomen” in the classroom. They really enjoyed taking turns hiding and then finding the play matzah. Your child’s afikomen holder will likely get good use at your family’s seder(s)!
